With more than two decades of excellence as a lawyer and entrepreneur, William Matthew Rossi has also earned distinction as a writer and novelist, inventor and world adventurer, having stood on all seven continents and visited over 80 countries. He is the author of the soon to be released debut novel, Innocence Unmasked, a gripping coming-of-age story that follows a group of high school friends who, over the course of an unplanned road trip to mark their graduation, experience life-changing events that so upend their very essence they will never again see the world as they had so naively imagined it to be. He’s also finishing his upcoming, life-changing motivational book, ChangeME BOOTCAMP, which is a no-nonsense guide showing how anyone can achieve transformative change and live their dreams, even if they never felt it was possible. And he has several other books in the works.
As an entrepreneur, William founded a national medical, drug/alcohol and DNA lab testing company that he franchised in several states, and as a top rated lawyer, held many leadership and litigation positions in both public and private practice. His soon-to-be-available patented invention, the BreatherCleaner™, is a convenient, easy-to-wear nose-only mask that helps filter out dust, dirt, pollen, and other everyday allergens and irritants.
In view of his impressive undertakings and illustrious career, William has received many awards and accolades and has been recognized worldwide for his accomplishments. Most notably, he was selected as the Top Attorney and Inventor of the year for 2026 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for his outstanding leadership, dedication and commitment to his profession and industry. IAOTP is a leading global professional organization known for its exclusive vetting process and honoring only the most accomplished and influential professionals. Equally significant, he was further featured in the Marquis Millennium Magazine, Seventeenth Edition, an invitation-only publication, which also honors the legacies of professionals from around the world.
William has also received the Top Lawyer designation from Martindale-Hubble, been given numerous Marquis Who’s Who awards including Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in the South and Southwest, and Who’s Who in Emerging Leaders in America, was recognized by Marquis Who's Who Top Business Owners for his dedication, achievements, and leadership in both law and business, was bestowed the Top 1% of America’s Most Honored Professionals by the American Registry, and was made a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society, the nation’s oldest and most prestigious academic honor society, among other accolades and awards. And he was recently honored to be interviewed on TV about his writing and being an author on the program CNTV the Best of the Nation.
Before embarking on his professional career path William earned his bachelor’s degree in political science, cum laude, from Miami University and then his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Dayton School of Law.
William grew up in a small town in the Midwest, where he excelled in athletics and always had part-time jobs. He lives by the mantra he coined years ago “Ambition, without the courage to act, is but a dream.™” Indeed, he’s the consummate “Dream Doer™,” never taking “no” as the answer to achieving his goals and living his dreams. He became a lawyer to make a difference in people’s lives by helping them find solutions to their most challenging problems. He became an entrepreneur to challenge himself at something entirely outside what he’d ever done. And now, as an author and inventor, he continues his passion for exploring the new and different by crafting thought-provoking stories that explore how one looks at life and by creating practical products that improve everyday life.
William lives in Florida with his wonderful wife of many years.
